For some time now, MAGIC CHRISTIAN has specialized on Marketing Promotion with magic. Because of the fact that magic is widely accepted among all kinds of people makes it a perfect transmitting system for information of all kind. MAGIC CHRISTIAN designs feats to specificly fit a given product range, so as to entertain the audience while at the same time giving it a presenatation of the product.   

It is his uniqueness that make MAGIC CHRISTIAN a highly regarded taskmaster: In the past years, he has held more than 100 presentations and lectures in the USA and Canada, in addition to 200 speeches in Japan, Chile, Argentina, Brasil, South Africa, France, Italy, Spain, Holland, England, Ireland, Hungary, the former CSFR, Switzerland and Germany. Furthermore, after the German reunion, MAGIC CHRISTIAN was called to hold more than 50 seminar lectures to help raise the quality of the magic.
Additionaly, he holds lectures concerning "Illusion and Reality", "Psychology and Body Language" and "Howto successfully present yourself" at international management symposiums.  

MAGIC CHRISTIAN is also a much-invited guest on international TV (ARD, WRD,SFW, ZDF, BBC, ITV, NHK u.v.a.) not just for magic performances but also as a specialist concerning the so-called PSI-Effects. On this topic, he was already invited to talk-shows and TV-series, the most prominent being a report on "Philippinean Miracle Healers".  

MAGIC CHRISTIAN has written (and still writes) for numerous professional journals, publishes books and was the chief editor of the Austrian magic-journal ALADIN for 11 years (1982 - 1992). He successfully gave the magazine a new look and a new content. Furthermore, he designed the title page of the German magazine MAGIE for more than 20 years.
His book on the subject of the founder of modern card-magic, Johann Nepomuk HOFZINSER, which he completed after 5 years of intensive investigations in 1998, was so successful that it is translated into English in 2005. A second Volume concerning the legendary card-tricks of Hofzinser followed by May 2004. The English translation will follow soon afterwards. A third volume dealing with Hofzinser's "Salonmagie" (parlour-magic) ist currently being written. Additionally, a book about Austrian Magician Valentino GRAZIADEI (who performed in between WWI and WWII), is currently being planned.
In a joint project with the Austrian company PIATNIK, MAGIC CHRISTIAN has brought out numerous magic-sets and books such as the all famous "How To Learn Magic". In fact, these kits are so successful that they have been translated to English, French, Japanese, and Polish !  

Some years ago, MAGIC CHRISTIAN created a new category for magic, the "Political Magic Satire"-performance, in which he mixed satirical texts and magic. In february/march 1999, Magic Christian presented his newest programme, "Simsalas & Bimsalas" which he performed in the Theater Akzent in Vienna. This was his fifth political satire performance.
MAGIC CHRISTIAN has a long history of playing for the theatre: In 1986, he took the part of the the sorcering lover in the NESTROY-play "The Ape and the Groom". 1998, he played the role of the intriguing lord in "The two Insomniacs".At New Year's Eve 1998/99, he even played the "Frog" in the operette "The Bat" (Johann Strauss) and thus succeeded such great artists as Heinz RÜHMANN, Fritz MULIAR, Otto SCHENK and Josef MEINRAD. In 2002 he was booked for the Raimund Summer Festival in Gutenstein for the Play "Der Barometermacher auf der Zauberinsel" in which play he acted as the unsuccessfull wizard of the court.   

MAGIC CHRISTIAN is a very versatile and creative person. It is this creativity that has accompanied him since his first successes and has made him one of the greatest magicians of our time. During his travels, he has shown himself as a honorable ambassador of genuine Austrian magic. Therefore, he was given the title "Professor" in autumn 2000 by the president of Austria, Dr. Thomas Klestil.   

In december 2003 MAGIC CHRISTIAN was honoured by the Mayor of Vienna, Dr. Michael Häupl, with the "Goldene Rathausmann", a six inch golden replica of the helmed knight on top of the City Hall in Vienna and a special reward for MAGIC CHRISTIAN's merits in the field of Magic and for his researches for the Viennese magicial history.

Magic in the 21st century is a lot more than doing some tricks: It is a message, which the audience cannot evade, and which certainly grasps its attention. MAGIC CHRISTIAN has managed the step into the new millenium. His performances transport not just pure entertainment, but also something which gives magic a whole new understanding: Ideas.
